Spanish Seafood Paella

What if we can’t go to Spain on a holiday ✈️

Let’s bring Spain to our house let’s cook some

Spanish Seafood paella



Ingredients


*200 gms mussels with shells

*200 gms prawns

*5 tbsp extra virgin Spanish olive oil

*1 1/2 tbsp finely chopped garlic

*2 tsp smoked paprika

*1 tin plum tomatoes

*Handful of parsley leaves

*1/2 chopped capsicum

*Some Crushed black pepper

*3 cups rice

*6 cups fish stock

*1 tsp salt


Method


*Wash the mussels in shells nicely wash the prawns do not peel them


*Heat up pot on a medium heat add in olive oil chopped garlic when the garlic gives out nice aroma add in chopped onion sauté for 3 mins


*Add in the prawns add some salt some freshly ground black pepper..just fry for 2 mins than remove the prawns from the pan place it in a plate


*Add in chopped capsicum sauté...add in a tin of tomatoes..add in smoked paprika


*Give it a good stir...add in the stock give it a boil add in rice...cover it let it cook for 6 to 7 mins...when the rice is half done or the liquid has reduced add in the prawns n mussels in shell



*now put the flame low n cover it with a silver foil n let it simmer for 5mins...put the flame off

Leave it without opening the foil for 5 mins..let it rest...

open it n garnish with fresh parsley...n your paella is ready to eat


*You can add some vegetables if u want whilst your cooking the rice...also you can add more seafood if u like...squids or clams..


*Paella tastes better warm n hot..so enjoy cooking it n eating it
