Pork vindaloo

Pork vindaloo a very easy recipe if you have all the ingredients and if you love curry then this dish is for you,I have not added oil to the dish as the fat melts,you can make it mild or hot, but trust me this dish is packed with flavours. So do try it.



Ingredients:

👉750 gms boneless pork with fat and skin

👉2 large finely chopped onions

👉2 tbsp of Tamarind pulp

👉small piece of jaggery(optional)

👉salt to taste


Grind to paste:

👉15 Kashmiri chillies

👉1/2 tsp black pepper corns

👉1 tsp cumin seeds

👉1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds

👉1 '' piece of ginger

👉6 cloves of garlic

👉1 1/2 “cinnamon stick

👉8 cloves

👉1/2 tsp turmeric powder

👉3 tbsps of malt vinegar

👉1/2 cup water



Method:


👉Take a blender and grind the above mentioned ingredients which says grind to paste.



👉Wash the pork under running water twice apply salt and marinate with the ground masala paste, when done set it aside for 1/2 hour.



👉Heat up a pot add the marinated pork and chopped onion fry it on a high flame combining everything together, add salt to taste,tamarind pulp,jaggery and half a cup of water.


👉 Cover it and cook it on medium flame for 25mins or until done


👉Serve it with Rice or pao.


👉Pork vindaloo tastes better after two days so if you have any occasion do prepare it before and keep.
