A simple and delicious Indian style dish,which is very healthy too as black chickpeas are rich in protein and high in dietary fiber. do try this easy recipe

Ingredients
👉1 cup black channa (soaked overnight)
👉1 medium onion chopped
👉1 medium tomato chopped
👉1 large potatoes(cut into cubes)
👉1 tbsp ghee
👉5 to 6 curry leaves
👉1 slit green chilly
👉1 tsp cumin seeds
👉1/2 tsp kauri methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
👉1 cup Fresh fenugreek leaves(I have used freshly grown methi seeds leaves)
Powdered masala
👉1 tsp Garam masala
👉1 tbsp coriander powder
👉1/2 tsp turmeric powder
👉1/2 tsp red chilly powder
Method
👉Soak the black chickpeas overnight or around 7 to 8 hrs.
👉Pressure cook the channa with water for about 3 to 4 whistles...or until done.
👉Drain the water in the bowl and keep it aside as we will need this water for later use.Remove the chickpeas in a bowl and keep it aside.
👉Heat up a pot add 1 tbsp ghee...when the ghee is hot...add in curry leaves... add in cumin seeds and fresh green chillies...let it splatter.
👉Add in chopped onion sauté until translucent add in chopped tomatoes sauté until mushy add in diced potatoes...add in all the masala where it says powdered masala...add in 1/2 tsp salt...mix it up well..on a low flame.
👉Add in the black chana, and the drained water maybe half a cup,cover it and let it simmer for 7 to 8 mins, than ,Add the kasuri methi and the fresh fenugreek leaves give it a stir and than last before turning the gas off add some fresh coriander leaves...and its ready...

👉Tastes delicious with roti, phulka, and rice.
