Chicken Masala Fry

One of the most homestyle Indian chicken recipe where there is no blending, no overnight marination which is moderately spicy and flavourful.Masala means a mixture of ground spices used in Indian cooking. I have made this dish several times in my kitchen so just thought of sharing it ,I make it dry as I like it as a starter or a side dish to go with my dal/rice. if you prefer gravy then add some coconut milk or onions/tomatoes. do try this basic easy Indian style recipe.




Ingredients:

1/2 kg chicken on bones

For marination of the chicken:

👉1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

👉2 tbsp lime juice

👉1 tsp salt

👉1 tbsp coriander powder

👉1 tsp red chilli powder

👉1 tsp garam masala

👉1 tsp cumin powder

👉1/2 tsp turmeric powder

👉1/2 tsp black pepper powder

👉1 tbsp red chilli sauce

👉1 1/2 tbsp yogurt


other ingredients needed:

👉2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves

👉2 tbsp oil for frying


Method:

👉Wash the chicken twice cut it into medium pieces marinate it with the above mentioned ingredients which says under marination for an half hour.


👉Heat up a frying pan add in oil when hot on a high heat place the chicken pieces in the hot oil and fry on high heat for 5mins turning both the sides

After that slow down the heat and cover the pan with the lid and keep the flame on medium heat fry the chicken for 5 mins open the lid add in chopped coriander leaves and fry again for 5 mins till all the masala is absorbed by the chicken and the chicken is tender.

Your spicy tangy chicken masala is ready to eat
