Baked Capsicum with Stuffed Mince

Stuffed capsicum with cooked beef mince is my grandma‘s special dish.she used to make these tasty stuffed capsicum with beef mince in Goan green masala and pan fry it specially during the feast. In this recipe I have done the same but sprinkled shredded cheese on top and baked it.A simple to make and good to serve at a party or get together,The beauty of these baked capsicum lies in the fillings which makes it delicious,you can make any fresh fillings what you like or stuff any leftovers and pan fry it or bake it.



Ingredients:

👉5 capsicum medium size

👉1/2 kg beef mince

👉2 medium finely chopped oinions

👉1/2 cup tomatoes(Tin)

👉4 tbsp of Goan green masala

👉1/2 cup green peas(optional)

👉1/2 tsp vinegar

👉1 tbsp oil

👉1/2 cup shredded cheese

👉1/2 tsp salt


Grind to paste:

👉Handful of Fresh coriander leaves

👉2 green chillies

👉3 garlic cloves

👉1/2’’ ginger


👉Heat up a pot on a medium flame add in oil add in onions saute for until translucent add in the green masala paste fry it for 30 secs now add in the ground paste fry it till the raw smell of ginger garlic goes away now add the tomatoes sauté until mushy.


👉Add in the mince,salt and 1/2 cup water cover it and let it cook for 15 mins on low flame add in the frozen peas,when the mince is cooked,add in a 1/2 tsp of vinegar and turn off the flame remove the mince in a plate/bowl to cool down and keep it aside.


👉Wash the capsicums and take a chopping board and place each capsicum on the board and cut it into halves remove the seeds from inside wash it again and sprinkle some salt on it at the stage fill the halves of capsicum with the cooked mince repeat the process for the rest of the capsicums, keep it aside.


👉Preheat the oven at 180 deg for 10 mins,brush a tray with oil to lay down the stufffed capsicum and arrange each capsicum one after another and just put some gravy of the cooked mince put the tray in the oven and baked it for 10 mins.


👉Remove the tray out and sprinkle some shredded cheese on top of each capsicum and baked it again for 30 seconds and the delicious stuffed capsicum is ready to eat.

👉Enjoy it when it is still hot.
