I am Rosa Maria Pereira known as Rosy by everyone. Ex-special educator at Sanjay school Goa for 9 years. Currently a full-time working mom in U.K., a wife and an aspiring home-cook; Loved and supported by my husband Cruz, my son Conroy who is 17 years old who has an appetite for a variety of food, and my little daughter Blossom who is 8 years old are my main inspiration for trying different recipes, they keep me on my toes. I love to cook for my family cause when they appreciate my food with a smile on their face its all worth it.

 

I have always been thinking to start my food blog so that my family, friends and food lovers get a quick glance at it. I have my facebook page as Rosy's Cooking Adventure, my food group as Cooking In Style so that people can post their plate of food in it.

 

Rosyskitchenstories.com brings to you all my Goan recipes which I have learnt from my grandmother and my mother and some recipes which I have created in my small kitchen. My food journey carries wonderful childhood memories, eating delicious food prepared by my grandma. She always had time and patience to prepare good food. When I eat those food today my grandma's food memory floods in me. She would make the best food for the family and I was the tastemaker, as with a smile on her face she would give me to taste the food on my palm. This blog is dedicated to my late grandmother Maria Filomena Isabella Fernandes - a remarkable woman, a wonderful combination of warmth and kindness.
